Do you have an odd number of people in your group? Rent a Kayak! Kayaks are a great way to explore the rivers and lakes in Manitoba.

We now have several kayaks available for rent this summer! Here are five exciting options:

Option 1 – Standard Plastic Kayak

With lots of room for larger paddlers and/or gear, the Liberty is a good choice for more adventurous paddlers. The Liberty is a very seaworthy boat with enough rocker to ride over larger swells while still easy to track. Equally at home on a 5 day trip or gliding through the weeds fishing for the next big one. Standard features include a large cockpit for easy entry, ratchet-adjustable ergonomic seating for comfort, tough superlinear plastic for durability, adjustable foot braces, easy carry handles, mesh gear pocket, rear hatch and deck rigging.

Option 2 – Rob Roy Composite Kayak

Welcome free-thinking, open-minded, not-hung-up-about-what-to-call-it, paddlers.Ye who say kayak or decked-canoe? Either way, it gets me where I want to go. Which is far away from the oppression of people who need to have everything categorized. Just give me a classic 150-year-old design recreated in a modern composite, a padded seat with a comfy, high backrest, a nice wide-open cockpit and I’m outta here.

Option 3 – Fishing Kayak

Fishing from kayaks has dated back thousands of years in Canada’s North. Recently, fishing from a kayak has become popular in warmer regions as well. Fishing kayaks are wider than the average kayak, and most often the paddler will sit on top of the kayak instead of inside it. Fishing kayaks are outfitted with the modern conveniences of fishing boats, including rod holders, places for tackle boxes and other equipment, and even a live well to preserve your catch!
