F.A.Q. about using our trailers
Can I use my own trailer?
- Only if you’ve been pre-approved by one of our staff members.
- To get approved, please set up a time stop by with your trailer ahead of your pick up date (or if you’re from out of town send us an email with detailed pictures)
- We generally don’t accept utility trailers or anything that isn’t specifically designed for hauling canoes.
I have rented some boats but want to haul my own boat(s) as well.
- In these cases the charge for each additional boat space is $15.00 per day.
- Additional (vacant) spaces requested may not exceed the number of rented boats.
Can I just use the trailers without rental boats?
- Empty trailers may only be reserved by phone – 204 290 7325
- Our primary business model is to provide trailers to people renting canoes.
Can I reserve my trailer online?
- YES – Boats, trailers, and additional spaces are all reserved at the same time on a single online form that is found on the boat rental pages of our website. You will be prompted for the number of boats that you require and for the total number of individual trailer spaces that may be needed.
When can I pick up and when should I return:
- you can select your pick up time online when you reserve your boat(s)
- Trailers may be conveniently returned on a 24/7 schedule!
- Trailer renters have the option to pick up just the trailer keys the night before an early departure if overnight parking is not convenient for them (arrangements must be made in advance)
