Map to the Pinawa Diversion Dam- travel to the very end of route 211 to reach the parking lot.
When the water become warm a tube is the preferred way to reach the suspension bridge.
Cooler water dictates a Canoe, Kayak or Raft
- The landing point will be on the left shore just meters before reaching the bridge.
- Stop for a brief lunch at the suspension bridge
- Those not continuing on to the old Pinawa Dam will cross this bridge and hike back to their car on a short stretch of the Trans Canada Trail. (2.8 km)
